The rugged junior middleweight from Passaic took previously unbeaten Abie Han’s best power punches, landed even more of his own hard shots and won the biggest fight of his four-year pro career by technical knockout. The 23-year-old Tapia remained undefeated by battering the 28-year-old Han (19-1, 12 KOs) into submission after eight action-packed rounds in a fight ESPN2 televised from Texas Station Gambling Hall & Hotel in North Las Vegas, Nev.
